  • customer service information (including returns, complaints, warranty claims, delivery information);
  • session data relating to the consultation of our web pages, apps for mobile devices or offers on Internet platforms, multimedia portals or social networks (including duration and frequency of visits, languages and countries preselected, information concerning the browser and operating system of the computer, Internet protocol addresses, keywords and search results, evaluation issued);

2. For what purposes does Algorigin collect your personal data?

Algorigin collects and stores personal data for the following purposes:

  • Customer account, shopping cart and order management;
  • Management of payment and credit operations;
  • Management of delivery operations;
  • Management of customer relations (telephone/chat/email), order tracking, after-sales service, product returns and refunds;

4. Why does Algorigin collect and process your personal data?

  • identification, classification and analysis of customers' current and potential needs and interests on an individual and personalized basis - as well as anonymously and in groups;
  • individualized and personalized - but also anonymous and grouped - classification and analysis of customer behavior and customer potential;
  • statistical evaluation of customer behavior on the basis of anonymized customer data;

  • individualized and personalized adaptation of offers and advertising on our web pages or mobile device apps or in our channels on Internet platforms, multimedia portals and social networks.

5. On what legal grounds does Algorigin collect and process your personal data?

User privacy is protected by law. Under data protection regulations, Algorigin is only authorized to use the personal data of its users if it has a valid legal basis. Algorigin must ensure that it has one or more of the following legal bases:

    8. How long does Algorigin keep your data?

    8.1 Data retention

    Algorigin retains your personal data for as long as it is necessary or appropriate to ensure compliance with applicable laws or as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.     11.1. Principles applicable to Algorigin

    Algorigin uses your contact information to send you targeted advertising, in particular by email, postal mail, SMS, mobile notification, on social networks or third-party websites.

    In this context, Algorigin undertakes to comply with the rules applicable to each prospecting channel.

    11.2. Prospecting by email and sms

    Algorigin complies with the rules laid down by Directive 2002/58/EC of July 12, 2002, which requires express prior consent for the sending of commercial prospecting by electronic means (e-mail or SMS).

    Thus, when you create your account on the site, you are expressly asked for your consent :

    12. What security measures are taken to protect my data?

    12.1. General rules

    As the data controller, Algorigin takes all necessary precautions to protect the security and confidentiality of data and, in particular, to prevent it from being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

    When using subcontractors, Algorigin ensures that they comply with data protection rules.

    12.2. Rules applicable to bank and credit card data

    To ensure payment security, Algorigin uses the services of a service provider, Shopify Payments, which is 3D Secure certified. This norm is a security standard whose objectives are to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of cardholder data, and thus to secure the protection of card and transaction data.

    12.3. Combating Internet fraud

    In order to ensure the security of payments and deliveries and to provide you with optimum quality of service, the personal data collected on the site is also processed by Algorigin to determine the level of fraud risk associated with each order and, where appropriate, to help modulate the conditions of execution thereof.

    13. Data collected by social networks

    Algorigin's web pages use social plugins such as Facebook or Instagram. Indicated by the logo of the providers in question, these plugins may consist of buttons such as "Like", or sharing buttons on "Facebook" or "Instagram".

    The use of social networks to interact with Algorigin may result in the exchange of data between Algorigin and these social networks.

    15. How does Algorigin use log data?

    16. How does Algorigin use web analysis tools?
