350 participants, a pump track, an enduro race and perfect weather: that's all it took for the 2017 edition of the Giromagny Enduro, organized by the Giromagny team, to go perfectly!

ENDURO & PUMPTRACK

The new edition of the Giromagny Enduro took place on August 27th. This race is renowned for its fun and its meticulous organization : impeccable singletracks, plenty to eat and drink (and a lot), and top-notch organizers! The 2017 edition featured the Giromagny Enduro, where riders would compete, as well as the inauguration of the town club's new pumptrack . A few timed "pumptrack challenge" sessions opened the hostilities between the riders. 8 of them qualified and competed in a nighttime final that saw Yoan Pesenti dominate Florian Grohens and Jérôme Clementz.

DUEL TIME!

D-day has arrived, it's time for the Giromagny enduro! On the program: 23.5 km , 1250m of positive elevation gain and 1800m of negative elevation gain starting Sunday morning at 9am on the heights of the Ballon d'Alsace. 342 riders are present on the starting line for these 5 special stages concocted by the Giro team. The earth is fresh, the singletracks are fast and the setting is idyllic for riding. After the 3rd special, a refreshment station offers dried fruits, cheeses, cold meats, energy gels and even waffles! The riders finish the race and enjoy a well-deserved plate before the prize-giving.

THE PODIUM

Race summary: Jérôme Clementz finished in first place, 4 seconds ahead of Eliott Baud. The final podium spot was held by Ludovic Oget. In the women's race, Mélanie Pugin won the race ahead of Nolwenn Deslande, who finished second , and Morgane Jonnier.

BALANCE SHEET

This 2017 edition of the Giromagny Enduro lived up to its promises. A top-notch race, impeccable organization, and an exceptional atmosphere! Algorigin is proud to support projects that bring so much fun and smiles to faces! We wish the Giro team a great year traveling the world in search of the best singletracks, and we look forward to seeing you next year for an edition that we hope will surprise us even more than this year!
