Discover or rediscover Montreux and the Vaud Riviera, already known for its Jazz and Comedy festivals, this time through the trails.
On July 26 and 27, the 3rd edition of the Montreux Trail Festival will be held on the Montreux market square, opposite the statue of Freddie Mercury in a sporty and festive atmosphere.

MONTREUX TRAIL FESTIVAL: A MIX OF SPORT AND RELAXATION
This tour of the Vaudois Alps was created by the "Dénivelé positif" association created by Diego Pazos, Algorigin ambassador and winner of the UTMB Oman 2018, and Cédric Agassis. Originally from Lausanne, they wanted to showcase their canton and their favorite playground in the heights of Montreux.
Today, more than 290 people, including at least 250 volunteers, are working over the two days to make the Montreux Trail Festival a top-notch event.
A FRIENDLY PROGRAM
The festivities will begin on Friday at 4 p.m., with a trail village and concerts on the program. The Montreux Trail Festival is all about festive and musical encounters, like those performed by the band Queen. And the various races will even be punctuated by numerous concerts along the way.
IN TOTAL, 140KM OF RACING FOR NEARLY 10,000M D+
6 races will be on the program on Saturday, from 1 km for children aged 1 year and over up to 55 km and 4200m D+ for the more experienced.
The Montreux Trail Festival offers courses accessible to all levels, whether you're running solo or with your family. The carefully designed routes will introduce you to the region's must-see attractions: the Chauderon Gorges, the Verraux mountain range, and the Col de Jaman. All with a bird's eye view of Lake Geneva and, for the more endurance-minded, a panoramic view of Mont Blanc!
