Environmental pollution is increasingly visible in our daily lives. It has many harmful consequences for humans and the environment. For example, it is estimated that by 2050, the seas and oceans will contain more plastic waste than fish.
This Saturday, 150 countries are taking part in World Cleanup Day . The goal is to clean up the planet in a fun way!
It all began in 2008 in Estonia, where more than 10,000 tons of waste were collected in just a few hours. This year, the green wave will begin in New Zealand and end 36 hours later in Hawaii. Across France, the goal is to mobilize more than 3 million people to clean up selected sites.
